Job Description
Co-op is a co-operative business looking for an Agronomist to provide agronomic support, consulting, and recommendations to growers and customers. This role involves collaborating with the Agro Team to ensure sustainable operations while seeking sales and growth opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for sustainable business practices while actively seeking opportunities.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Agriculture or Agribusiness
- Professional certifications (CCA, PAg) or working towards is an asset
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an agriculture-related field
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Intuitive understanding of farm business management
- Strong agricultural background in sales, accounts management, and agronomy
- Sound knowledge of new technology developments
- Honesty and trustworthiness
- Results-oriented
