Senior RF Engineer

DTC is seeking a Senior RF Engineer to join their Hardware Engineering team in Hampshire. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in board-level and system-level RF electronics design and be responsible for RF system and hardware designs from initial concept through requirements definition, architecture definition, part selection, detailed design, analysis, qualification testing, manufacturing, and in life support.

Requirements

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Electronics or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of industry experience in design and analysis of RF electronics and systems.
• Proficient in RF fundamentals: impedance matching, Smith charts, passive RLC, filter design, linearity, harmonics, noise figure analysis etc.
• Proficient in professional simulation tools such as AWR, as well as EDA tools such as PADS.
• Extensive hands-on experience with lab instruments such as network analysers, spectrum analysers, signal generators and oscilloscopes.
• Proven experience of design, simulation, prototyping, and testing of baseband, IF, and RF circuits
• Expertise in schematic capture and PCB layout for multilayer RF designs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
