Job Description
CODE University of Applied Sciences invites applications for a professorship in Software Engineering (f/m/x). The professorship will contribute to the development of Software Engineering-related offerings in the curricula of undergraduate and graduate programs, further strengthen Software Engineering-related research at CODE, and provide guidance for entrepreneurs and teams on both technical and strategic matters.
Requirements
- A doctoral degree/PhD in a relevant field.
- Teaching experience at university level.
- A student-centred teaching approach that emphasises active participation and inclusivity.
- Documented research achievements.
- Accomplishments in the application or development of scientific knowledge and methods in at least five years of professional practice, of which at least three years must have been practiced outside the university sector (in line with §100 of the Berlin Higher Education Law (BerlHG)).
- An excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
Benefits

- A salary between €6,166 and €7,083 per month (gross) for a full-time position depending on experience.
