Medical Assistant

Reporting to the Nurse Supervisor or designee, the Medical Assistant performs direct and indirect patient care activities, promotes patients’ self-management, and empowers patients/families to achieve maximum levels of wellness and independence.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED and/or graduated from a Medical Assistant Program
• 1-2 years of experience preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to participate in medication reconciliation processes and related prescription management tasks
• Ability to lift 10-25 pounds
• Visual acuity sufficient for frequent reading and computer use
