Job Description
This Registered Nurse position (Fulltime & Part-time) focuses on direct patient care in the maternity ward, coordinating with physicians and supervisors, and ensuring individualized patient care. The role includes assessment, planning, and communication with other healthcare professionals, as well as assisting with clinical procedures and providing education. The position is variable with varying schedules and staffing needs.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Nursing
- Current licensure from the State Board of Nurse Examiners in Texas
- BLS/Basic Life Support certification (Active)
- Fetal monitoring certification (Basic/Intermediate)
- Advanced fetal monitoring course (every other year)
- S.T.A.B.L.E. certification (within 1 year)
- ACLS/Advanced Life Support certification (within 6 months)
- Knowledge of medications and their administration
- Knowledge of neonatal resuscitation guidelines
- Assessment and communication skills
