Cogent Bank is seeking a motivated Residential Mortgage Loan Originator to solicit and originate residential mortgage loans. The role focuses on building relationships with clients, ensuring high-quality loan approval, and providing excellent customer service. This position supports a growing bank with locations across Florida and national SBA/USDA divisions.
Requirements
- Active NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator License or ability to attain
- Minimum two years of mortgage origination experience with own referral network
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding production goals
- Superior sales skills combined with a service mentality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of BSA/AML compliance
