Pharma Molecular Biologist

Cogent Scientific is seeking a Pharma Molecular Biologist to develop, optimize, and run samples for custom assays, test samples using qPCR/RT-PCR, and analyze tissue samples. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in molecular biology, excellent time management and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• BS – Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Cellular Biology or related field with 1-3 years of laboratory experience
• MS-Molecular Biology, etc. with 0-1 years of experience outside of academia
• Strong time management skills and flexibility to handle urgent projects
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
• Very strong attention to detail and safety as well as problem-solving skills
• Demonstration of excellent team player skills
