Job Description
The Health and Wellness Director (LPN/LVN or RN) is an integral member of the management team at Cogir Senior Living, ensuring the health and wellness of residents and performing initial and ongoing assessments. They interact directly with employees, residents, and vendors, while providing training and supervision to the clinical team.
Requirements
- LPN/LPN or RN nursing license in good standing
- Associate degree or higher in nursing preferred or combination of education and experience
- Current state-required certifications, such as First Aid, CPR, and applicable credentials
- At least 4 years working in geriatric nursing with medication administration experience
- At least 2 years in a supervisory/management role with experience in budgets, staff development, training, and scheduling
