Engineer

Coherent Corp. is seeking a full-time Engineer to maintain and improve die attach bonders, wire bonders, welders, ovens, testers, and other equipment. This role involves leading a team, identifying cost reduction opportunities, preparing equipment, ensuring facilities are available, and working with vendors. The role emphasizes compliance, continuous improvement, and adherence to company values.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronic/Electromechanical, Computer/Telecommunication or equivalent)
• Relevant working experience in networking, test process, or product transfer
• Understanding of product development process and successful product release
• Basic test methodologies and electronic schematic/drawing interpretation
• Experience with fiber-optic/laser products
• 100% onsite availability
