Job Description
This Principal Embedded Software Engineer role focuses on developing and maintaining software features based on customer and product needs. The role involves bug resolution, firmware documentation, team collaboration, and customer interaction. The ideal candidate should have experience in the Optical Networking industry and a strong understanding of Agile development and DevOps.
Requirements
- 75% software development
- 8+ years of embedded software systems experience
- Expert in C and C++ programming
- Experience with system products (e.g., North-Bound Interface, Platform infrastructure)
- Agile development experience (CI/CD, DevOps)
- Knowledge of networking protocols (Netconf, Open vSwitch) is a plus
- Familiarity with virtualization and container technologies
- Strong communication skills in English
