Process Engineer will leverage expertise in cleaning processes and materials to troubleshoot and resolve process and manufacturing challenges. The role involves generating innovative ideas for process optimization and product improvement, enhancing manufacturing yields and operational efficiency, and supporting new product introduction and process transfer.
Requirements
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics
- Work experience in thin film coating or in an advanced manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical & project management skills
- Good technical knowledge of the thermal & optical properties of materials
- Knowledge of Thin Film Deposition Physics & Thin Film Design
- Knowledge of high vacuum systems, evaporation techniques, cleaning & drying technologies
- Knowledge of DOE, FMEA, SPC, TQM
- Data visualization in Power BI or similar platform
- Ability to analyze and extract meaningful insight of data
- Knowledge of work safety practices, handling of industrial/ hazardous materials
- Strong analytical & project management skills
- Good technical knowledge of the chemical & optical properties of materials, in particular silicon, zinc selenide, germanium, gallium arsenide
- In depth knowledge of ultrasonic wet cleaning & advanced drying techniques
