Test Technician

As a Test Technician, you will be involved in the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of laser modules, electronic circuits, and mechanical assemblies. You will also work with free-space optical components, operate computer systems for testing and report writing, and support Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Perform the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of laser modules, electronic circuits, and mechanical assemblies
• Work with free-space optical components - test and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems
• May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing
• Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems
• Operate computer systems for testing of product and report writing
• Support Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Contribute to control of inventory and work order management
