Wafer Fab Technician

Wafer Fab Technician responsible for processing InP semiconductor wafers in a cleanroom environment, handling chemicals, and interacting with engineering for process training and execution.

Requirements

• Process InP semiconductor wafers in a cleanroom and ESD-safe environment
• Certify in multiple process areas such as photolithography, wet etch, dry etch, thin-film deposition, metallization/plating, lapping/polishing, and characterization
• Handle chemicals with caution and follow safety protocol
• Follow process flow using traveler and MES
• Enter wafer characterization data and WIP location information into MES
• Interact with engineering for process training and execution of non-standard work instructions
• Record and verify discrepancies using travelers and MES
• Participate and certify for ERT
• Provide process training to coworkers
• Work in a fast-paced environment, carrying out multiple projects at a time
• Maintain cleanliness and follow site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards
