Job Description
Cohu is seeking a Software Engineer to join a team focused on developing high-quality software features for customer handler software. The role involves executing software development life cycles, writing requirement specifications, and collaborating with other engineering groups. This is a remote position offering a collaborative and dynamic team environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical/Electronic, or equivalent)
- Strong background in software programming (C, C++, and non-OOP)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Adaptability to different environments
- Experience in semiconductor or hardware development (advantageous)
- Strong ethics, diplomacy, patience, and listening skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to travel (10%)
