Senior Counsel, Commercial Legal

Coinbase is seeking a Senior Counsel, Commercial Legal to join its Commercial Legal team. The role involves negotiating cutting-edge payments deals, driving novel agreement structures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve problems and close complex deals quickly.

Requirements

• 7-10+ years of relevant transactional experience in-house or at a leading law firm
• Deep expertise with fintechs, banks, payment processors, payment networks, and/or payment issuers/acquirers
• Excellent commercial drafting and negotiation skills, judgment, analytic rigor, and business pragmatism
• Willingness to roll up sleeves (no job too big, no job too small)
• Interest in digital currency and blockchain technology
