CoinGecko is a global leader in tracking cryptocurrency data. We are a remote company with locations in Singapore and Malaysia, and we are looking for a Product Designer Intern to join our team.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in UI/UX design, computer science, human computer interaction, or related fields.
- Portfolio of UI/UX design work that showcases your process and solutions.
- Relevant past internship experience in UI/UX design is a plus.
- Strong desire and passion to learn about the blockchain/cryptocurrency industry and the problems faced by users.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma and design systems.
- User-focused, analytical, and able to articulate design decisions well.
- Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative usability measurement methodologies.
- People Skills: Communicate clearly and have experience working with other individuals in a team towards achieving a common goal.
- Leadership: Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision after 3 months.
- Problem Solving: Passionate about solving problems faced by stakeholders together with strong user empathy.
- Growth mindset: You love delving into new technologies and new ways of doing things.
- Software Development Knowledge: Familiarity with front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, as well as frameworks such as Tailwind or Bootstrap is a plus.
- Prototyping Knowledge: Familiarity with prototyping with v0, claude or chatGPT. Even better if you know how to style with Tailwind or build UI with React.
- Keen interest in cryptocurrency, NFT, web3, memecoins, and metaverse topics.
