Job Description
COLAS is seeking a Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager in overseeing the construction process. The position requires strong time management, communication, and client service skills. The Project Engineer will be responsible for protecting and promoting the interest of both the business and client in all matters, while demonstrating the personal characteristics of a mid-level leader.
Requirements
- Participate in monthly cost report meetings
- Adhere to project controls procedures, including monthly cost control, pay requests, and cost reporting
- Act as a liaison between the owner, architects, subcontractors, and the company
- Process subcontractor submittals, route, review, and approve
- Establish handling procedures for electronic documents, including Request for Information (RFI) and correspondence
