
Job description
The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator is responsible for preparing customer shipments, receiving incoming parts and supplies, restocking Kanban bins, using creativity and initiative to meet aggressive deadlines and improve processes.
Pull ordered machines and parts from inventory, prepare them for shipment, crate, band, wrap, box or otherwise package machines or parts for shipment, schedule freight trucks, work with carriers, prepare paperwork, load shipments onto trucks, enter data into ERP system, accept and verify incoming shipments, stock parts, assemble crates, alert lead coordinator to low supply levels, operate forklift and other industrial lift equipment.
Must be self-motivated, thrive in a fast-paced environment, have strong attention to detail, oral and written communication skills, basic to intermediate computer skills, able to lift 50 lbs, and have flexibility over a wide range of tasks.
