
Job description
We are seeking a Quality Control Manager to join our team! As a Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the training and development of all staff for the department, including hiring new employees and handling discipline or termination of existing employees. You will also audit the current processes and systems, oversee all incoming materials and products, and ultimately lead the department as a whole.
Lead a team of engineers and experts within the department, audit current processes to improve efficiency, hire, train, and mentor employees under your supervision, conduct performance reviews and disciplinary actions, as necessary, and assist with all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and laboratory policy.
The ideal candidate has leadership experience, exceptional communication skills, and strong attention to detail. Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the environmental analytical laboratory, especially ISO and TNI quality standards, is also desired.
