The Shop Helper assists all personnel and managers in maintenance tasks as requested and is responsible for maintaining cleanliness of all Shop areas.
Requirements
- Ability to take direction for tasks and to learn new skills
- Provide assistance as needed to all Shop personnel and management
- Be able to prep vehicles and equipment for painting, including sanding and doing work requiring the use of a respirator or mask
- Be able to remove wheels and parts on trailers and trucks
- Maintain Shop cleanliness in all areas, including areas only accessible by ladder or lift
- Be able to use computer systems to research and order parts as directed and communicate with vendors
- Must be able to drive to pick-up or deliver parts as needed
- All other duties as assigned
