CSPNJ is looking for a part-time Supportive Housing Assistant to perform administrative duties, assess individuals' needs, and facilitate access to housing services.
Requirements
- High School diploma / GED with 2 years of mental health experience.
- Excellent verbal communication, writing, assessment skills, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of community resources and how to access them.
- Experience with real estate and knowledge of State and local housing regulations.
- Proficient in MS Office products, as well as general computer literacy.
- Ability to effectively communicate and relate to a diverse population in a multicultural environment.
- Proven ability to engage and support individuals with mental health diagnoses using empathy, professionalism, and trauma-informed practices.
- Bilingual skills are a plus!
- Valid NJ Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
- Lived Experience: CSPNJ prioritizes hiring people who use their life experience with a mental health diagnose or substance use to inspire and support others.
