The Student Advisor partners with students, their families and referring professionals to facilitate our students' path toward independence. The position involves writing and coordinating Individual Service Plans (ISPs), preparing and facilitating periodic meetings with students and parents, and communicating with student families regarding overall progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or a related field
- 2 years of experience in the field of autism and/or learning disabilities at the higher education level
- Special education and/or advising background, particularly at the higher education level
- Active Driver's License
