Part - Time Instructor, ABE ESL - FY 2026

The College of Southern Nevada is seeking a Part-Time Instructor for the Adult Basic Education English as a Second Language (AB ESL) program. The instructor will teach and develop curriculum for ESL students from beginning to advanced levels, with a focus on preparation for post-secondary professional and academic pursuits.

Requirements

• Teaching experience with ESL students from Basic through advanced level
• Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited College or University
• Proficiency in Microsoft & Google Suite
• Ability to work in and with a diverse population
• Time management skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience in a Hybrid classroom, online/in-person classes
• Knowledge of educational technology and its use in classroom environments
• Knowledge of IET/workforce programming
• Interpret and apply educational data to program standards and benchmarks
• Knowledge of monitoring student progress using online programs
