The College of Southern Nevada seeks a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting to join its team. The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, and 3 years of full-time experience in accounting, including reconciling, analyzing, and reporting financial data.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field
- 3 years of full-time working experience in accounting, including reconciling, analyzing, and reporting financial data
- One or more years of working knowledge of fund accounting in higher education
- Demonstrated experience in research and application of the knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the standards of the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) statements or IRS codes
