Job Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for general maintenance and minor repairs to buildings and grounds, performing tasks as required. This role involves mechanical aptitude, equipment operation, record-keeping, and performing minor repairs. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation with extension ladders
- Mechanical aptitude and mobile maintenance skills
- Ability to read manuals and follow instructions
- ADA awareness
- Ability to work off ladders
- Basic electrical repairs knowledge
- Proficiency with basic machinery
- Experience in janitorial/maintenance
- Electrical apprenticeship or boiler operator license
