Job Description
We are seeking a Certified Lumber Grader to join our team. The successful candidate will hold grading certification(s) and apply the requisite grading rules of the Western Wood Products Association (WWPA) to identify grades of lumber. The position requires on-site attendance and periodic travel for training or product inspections.
Requirements
- Comply with safety standards at all times and correct/report any observed safety hazards.
- Maintain a grading accuracy of 95 percent in all products.
- Communicate with and learn from other certified lumber graders and the Dry End Supervisor, Quality Control Coordinator, and WWPA inspectors for continued education.
- Possess and maintain at least one grading certification.
- Ability to follow all company, state and federal safety rules when performing required job duties.
