Job Description
Colonial Pipeline Company seeks an Assistant Corporate Controller to oversee financial reporting activities, ensure compliance with accounting and regulatory standards, and lead a team of accounting professionals. The role involves managing the monthly close process, supporting SEC reporting, and partnering with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, and a CPA certification.
Requirements
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting or Finance
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Proven experience leading monthly close and financial reporting processes
- Experience working in both public accounting and corporate accounting environments
- Strong leadership experience managing and developing accounting teams
- Ability to operate effectively in a regulated, multi-entity, multi-standard reporting environment
