Job Description
The Lead 2nd Shift Shear Line Operator is responsible for leading the team and operating shear line equipment to cut and process reinforcing steel to specification.
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1-3 years' experience working with rebar and operating a shear line.
- Strong understanding of shop drawings and production processes.
- Knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety standards.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment maintenance.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to safely lift and manage 50+ lbs.
- Basic computer skills.
