Full-time faculty in the School of Counseling at Colorado Christian University. The ideal candidate has a doctoral degree in counselor education, full licensure in their respective state, and 3-5 years of higher education teaching experience. Responsibilities include teaching, course development, committee work, and service to the program, University, profession, and community.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in counselor education from a CACREP-accredited program
- Full license in respective state
- Licensure as a professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, substance abuse counselor, or a school counselor is preferred
- 3-5 years of higher education teaching experience (preferred)
- Clinical experience appropriate for master's level instruction
- Eligibility for clinical licensure within state of residency
- Knowledge and a demonstrated application of adult learning theory, effective teaching and learning in both in-seat and online formats, and integration of Christian faith and learning
