Nurse Practitioner Faculty- Doctor of Nursing Practice Program

Colorado Christian University is seeking a dedicated and full-time faculty member to teach in its Doctor of Nursing Practice program, focusing on Family Nurse Practitioner and Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner tracks. The ideal candidate will have clinical expertise in family practice, a proven record of teaching, and a heart for mentoring students both professionally and spiritually.

Requirements

• A Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with a Family Nurse Practitioner emphasis from an accredited nursing school.
• National Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
• An active, unencumbered Colorado or multi-state Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license.
• Three years of full-time clinical experience or equivalent in family practice (care across the lifespan).
• Three to five years of graduate teaching experience in a nationally accredited program preferred.
• Documented evidence of competency in teaching, curriculum development, program evaluation, and scholarship and service to the profession.
