Job Description
The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless seeks a Behavioral Health Technician to provide de-escalation and environmental safety support to patients in a 75-bed, 24/7 facility. The BHT will work in partnership with the Safety Director, Senior Director of Behavioral Health Services, and others to provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals healing from an acute medical need.
Requirements
- Active certification in basic life support (CPR/BLS)
- Interest in harm reduction, and/or behavioral health environments, and/or supporting vulnerable populations
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience or certification as a Medical Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, or Certified Nursing Assistant
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish
