Job Description
The Independence Center is seeking compassionate and caring family and friend caregivers to provide personal care and homemaking services. They work with families and friends to improve independence and overall well-being. The role involves performing basic procedures and household tasks under the guidance of therapists and RNs. They offer competitive pay and support.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Able to lift, push, pull between 25-50 lbs.
- Complete Personal Care Attendant training.
- Be able to perform personal care activities: bathing, shampooing, skin/nail care, oral hygiene, shaving, dressing, etc.
- Complete Household Care tasks: meal preparation/feeding, laundry, and light housekeeping.
