Job Description
The Continuous Improvement Intern will support on-site Lean and improvement efforts within the mill environment. This hands-on operational role is designed for a student interested in manufacturing, Lean systems, problem solving, and process optimization.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing Technology, Business/Lean Management, or related field
- Participate in problem-solving sessions using A3, 5-Why, and 8-step methods
- Assist with implementation of Lean tools such as 5S, visual controls, standardized work, and waste identification
