The Senior Software Analyst identifies and clarifies business and users needs and aligns solutions to meet them. Supports and maintains software-as-a-service (SaaS), packaged software, and/or enterprise-wide applications.
Requirements
- Identify and clarify business and user needs and align solutions to meet them
- Support and maintain software-as-a-service (SaaS), packaged software, and/or enterprise-wide applications
- Map business processes to application(s) to best deliver value and maximize application functionality
- Configure, setup, and update applications, as well as manage access control
- Build and produce reporting for business needs
- Recommend changes in application development, maintenance, and system standards
- Contribute to and help refine the team's backlog
- Help inform delivery estimates, prioritization, identify dependencies, and influence the roadmap
- Translate business inputs of Reach and Impact into actionable tech work
- Collaborate on Confidence and Effort scoring, and flag delivery risks
- Challenge and refine assumptions in prioritization
- Use delivery and performance data to inform planning
- Apply knowledge to partner with teammates and the delivery manager to break down work into reasonable sizes that can be accomplished in a single iteration
- Ensure stories have clear understood value and defined acceptance criteria
- Own clarity and readiness of sprint/iteration-level artifacts
