Sr. Database Administrator (BASIS / DBA)

The Senior Database Administrator will be responsible for delivering enterprise-wide operational database development and support, overseeing the resolution of database-related incidents and service requests, and contributing to the design, implementation, and optimization of critical database solutions.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of hands-on experience as a Database Administrator with a strong focus on Microsoft SQL Server
• Expertise in SQL Server installation, configuration, and administration
• Performance tuning and optimization (T-SQL, indexing, execution plans)
• High availability and disaster recovery (Always On, clustering, log shipping, mirroring)
• Backup/restore strategies and automation
• SQL Server security and compliance
• Strong understanding of database architecture, storage, networking, and server infrastructure
• Experience supporting large-scale, mission-critical database environments
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive resolution independently
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
