Job Description
Columbia University seeks experienced industry professionals to serve as part-time Associate Faculty for a graduate-level course in Cloud Computing. The course introduces analytics students to applied cloud computing concepts and practices.
Requirements
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Solid knowledge and academic foundation in distributed computing, UNIX operating system fundamentals and shell programming
- Experience with the Linux operating system, cloud virtualization and storage systems
- 3+ years of professional experience with at least one of the commercial cloud services (Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or IBM Cloud)
- Knowledge of Python programming language
