Adjunct – Landscape Design & Management

The Adjunct – Landscape Design & Management position provides quality instruction and maintains a positive learning environment in the classroom, with major emphasis placed on teaching, supporting and evaluating students.

Requirements

• Teach assigned courses as scheduled
• Design curriculum embracing diversity, in all forms
• Participate in the identification of students with academic or other needs
• Use technology in a manner appropriate to the nature and objectives of courses and programs
• Maintain accurate and appropriate records
• Distribute and maintain accurate syllabi
• Conduct classes punctually and in accordance with the prescribed meeting schedule
• Engage in periodic meetings with the department, Lead Instructor, and Chairperson relative to teaching duties and professional development
• Refer students to appropriate student and academic support services
• Foster and maintain a safe environment of respect and inclusion
• Attend all department meetings and required trainings
• Ability to work multiple sites, and off-campus as required
