Software Development Engineer - I

The Company CommerceIQ is building the AI platform that runs commerce for the world's largest brands.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of professional backend software engineering experience
• Strong fundamentals in Java or Python, with experience shipping production backend services
• Exposure to or strong curiosity about agentic or generative AI systems, with eagerness to build in this space
• Familiarity with technologies such as Postgres, Databricks, and AWS, or comparable stacks
• Ability to break down well-scoped problems and drive them to completion with support from senior engineers
• Good product sense and willingness to collaborate closely with cross-functional partners
• Comfort working in an early-stage or evolving environment where priorities can change quickly
