Detention Guard - Lillooet, B.C.

Commissionaires BC is hiring casual on call detention guards to work at the RCMP detachment in Lillooet. The role involves monitoring the safety and well-being of persons in custody and performing additional duties as required.

Requirements

• Must be 19 years and older
• Valid Basic First Aid Certificate (Occupational First Aid level 1 or equivalent) or willingness to complete the course prior to being hired
• Able to obtain RCMP Reliability Clearance
• Demonstrated ability to read, write and speak in English
• Vision: Visual standards are RCMP-V4 (eyeglasses permitted)
• Mobility Standards: Able to use both hands, occasionally manipulate/lift up to 20 kilograms, bend at the waist and climb stairs without restrictions or the use of assistance devices
