Election Protection Organizer, Texas (Temporary)

Common Cause is seeking an Election Protection Organizer to support their work in Texas, focusing on growing and diversifying their audience and volunteer base to protect and strengthen democracy.

Requirements

• Engage members in Election Protection efforts
• Support recruitment, training, and management for members and volunteers
• Develop and lead engaging Election Protection trainings
• Participate in nonpartisan education and outreach activities
• Engage in state and/or multi-state campaigns and mobilizations
• Assist in developing and disseminating Election Protection-related educational resources
• Support the implementation of systems to manage Common Cause members and volunteers
• Support collection and reporting of data and information
• Share Election Protection educational materials on social media
• Build and maintain relationships with community partners and elected officials
• Act as a representative of Common Cause in various coalitions
• Monitor and engage with Boards of Elections and local election officials
• Build relationships with key stakeholders and host community meetings
• Complete administrative tasks as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
