Job Description
The Commonshare pharmacy technician is responsible for selling and dispensing pharmacy and retail services, interacting with patients and prescribers, and accurately entering patient data. They perform drug inventory, fill prescriptions, and verify prescriptions according to legal and regulatory requirements. The role emphasizes compassionate customer service and accurate record keeping.
Requirements
- Positive can-do Attitude
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous pharmacy experience preferred
- Hospital or Home Health experience preferred
- Valid Virginia ChPT required with PTCB preferred
- Immunization certificate required
- CPR (BLS) required
- Valid Virginia Driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Criminal Background Checks including VA State Police
- 3rd party Background Check
