Lead Environmental Engineer

Commonwealth Fusion Systems is looking for a Lead Environmental Engineer to lead complex environmental projects, provide technical expertise on environmental regulations, and ensure compliance with environmental laws. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in environmental regulations, experience in managing complex projects, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• 10+ years of progressive experience in environmental consulting or industrial environmental management
• Deep understanding of environmental regulations at the local, state, and federal levels
• Strong technical skills in environmental assessments, permitting, and compliance monitoring
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
• Perform activities such as stooping, climbing, typing, standing, or sitting for extended periods of time
