Job Description
Commonwealth Fusion Systems is seeking a Principal Technical Project Manager to drive the development of their next-generation High-Temperature Superconducting (HTS) magnet systems. The successful candidate will have 15+ years of technical experience and a proven track record of leading complex projects from concept to production ramp up.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 15+ years of technical experience, with a minimum of 10 years leading the development of large-scale magnet systems or similar electromechanical systems
- PMP or other Project Management certification
- Proven experience delivering first of a kind (FOAK) complex projects from concept to first articles and production ramp up
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to mobilize multi-disciplinary teams to address complex issues
- Excellent communication skills, adapting to various levels of technical proficiency to ensure comprehensive understanding among all stakeholders
