The Critical Care Intensivist provides comprehensive medical management of critically ill patients in the intensive care unit. This role involves the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of complex, life-threatening conditions, coordination of multidisciplinary care, and leadership of ICU clinical teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered outcomes.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited residency program (e.g., Internal Medicine, Anesthesiology, Surgery, Emergency Medicine, or Pulmonary)
- Completion of an accredited Critical Care Medicine fellowship
- Board-eligible or board-certified in Critical Care Medicine
- Ability to obtain and maintain unrestricted state medical licensure
- DEA registration or eligibility
- ACLS certification
