Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO) - Texas

Emergency Medicine Physician provides immediate evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients presenting with acute illness or injury in the emergency department.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school
• One of the following training pathways: Completion of an accredited Emergency Medicine residency OR Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency with an Emergency Medicine fellowship
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Emergency Medicine or Board-certified in Family Medicine with Emergency Medicine fellowship training
• Ability to obtain and maintain unrestricted state medical licensure
• DEA registration or eligibility
• BLS and ACLS required; ATLS and PALS as required by department
