The Hand and Upper Extremity Orthopedic Surgeon provides comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care for patients with conditions affecting the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder.
Requirements
- Evaluate and manage conditions of the hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, and shoulder
- Perform surgical procedures consistent with fellowship training and privileges
- Provide non-operative management such as injections, splinting, casting, therapy referrals, and rehabilitation planning
- Manage perioperative and postoperative care
- Collaborate with physical and occupational therapy, primary care, rheumatology, neurology, plastic surgery, and rehabilitation services
