Staff Quality Engineer

Support quality perspective for new product development projects in Data Center Fiber product portfolio under CCS business segment. Work closely with quality, engineering, operations, product line management, and project management departments.

Requirements

• Active participation in new product development, sustaining, investigation, and cost reduction projects
• Complete quality deliverables for assigned new product development projects
• Conduct packaged product reviews for onsite new product launches
• Support the resolution of lab testing nonconformances
• Participate in D and PFMEAs for assigned projects
• Collaborate with site NPI and Operations Quality teams to identify areas to improve design for manufacturability
• Lead the resolution of design related customer or internal complaints
• Support the Quality Monitoring Program
• Analyze local product/process deviations to identify repetitive issues related to the product design
• Support special quality projects or initiatives as needed
