Job Description
The Family Medicine Residency Program Faculty member provides support to the Family Medicine Associate Program Director to ensure the quality of the educational experience for the residents.
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited U.S. Medical School
- Current unrestricted license to practice Medicine in the State of Texas
- Board certification in Family Medicine or participating in activities similar to Family Medicine maintenance of certification
- Annual continuing medical education as required by Board specialty
- Current DEA, and other such certificates to legally operate as a practitioner in the State of Texas
- Hospital privileges at designated area hospitals if required for specialty
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Experience in faculty of residency program preferred
- Strong general computer and organizational skills
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Instructor-Led by American Heart Association
