Family Nurse Practitioner (PH2602 - NIC)

Provides quality, comprehensive out-patient primary health care services to the Center’s Family Medicine patients of all ages. Reports to the Director of Family Medicine regarding administrative, provider relations and other day to day guidance.

Requirements

• Examines, diagnoses, treats and/or refers patients assigned to physician’s panel
• Maintains a problem-oriented health record for each patient
• Provides medical services on a timely basis
• Refers patients for specialty care services
• Reviews lab and x-ray reports
• Maintains productivity standards and efficient patient flow
• Provides excellent internal/external customer service
• Trains and mentors medical students and clinical support staff
• Follows established departmental and clinic policies
• Participates in health promotion, education and/or prevention programs
• Performs other related duties as assigned
