Supplier Quality Engineer

Communications & Power Industries is seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join their team to achieve and maintain high levels of supplier quality.

Requirements

• Act as the technical liaison between suppliers, supply chain, and internal engineering teams
• Drive Design for Excellence (DFx) principles to improve manufacturability, testability, reliability, and cost
• Lead and review DFMEA and PFMEA activities
• Establish and standardize supplier quality business processes
• Evaluate and approve suppliers based on technical capability, process maturity, and compliance
• Partner with engineering and suppliers to resolve complex technical issues
• Review and approve technical documentation
• Develop and maintain supplier performance metrics
• Conduct and lead supplier audits
• Lead internal Quarterly Quality Reviews
• Support capacity planning and supplier readiness
• Participate in design reviews, change control processes, and cross-functional problem-solving
